Late 19th Century porcelain cheese dish with a gold gilding handle by Carlton Ware with beautiful scalloped edges and a gold handle.
The back stamp on the base of the dish is; "W&R Carlton Ware Stoke on Trent England. RD.NO.213522".
The Earlier Crown Mark indicates that the dish was made (c1894 – c1926). This mark can appear in a variety of colours: blue, black, or gold and appears blue on this dish.

In good antique condition with a few tiny chips along the edges of the dish and some discolouration throughout which are to be expected for an item of this age and only add to the look and feel of the dish.
